Rescue have recently learnt of the proposed closure of Harrow Museum, as the latest round of local authority cuts hits heritage and culture hard. We have written to Harrow Council asking that they reconsider such a closure. Rescue argue that a decision to close the museum remains shortsighted given extensive investment in this asset, including providing funds towards a Heritage Lottery fund bid to redevelop the museum.
